Mulder India Pvt. Ltd. is a leading decal Manufacturing company based in Bangalore. They manufacture decals for Ceramic ware, Glasswares, Helmet, and Textile. While Eff N Bee Lifestyle is a sister company of Mulder India and they are a retailer of RAK porcelain UAE. The objective of this design graduation project was to design luxurious Tableware Decals for Mulder India Pvt Ltd. The aim was to enhance the company's product portfolio, catering to diverse customer preferences, and strengthen its competitive position in the market. The Practical study and literature review were conducted to gain a comprehensive understanding of the ceramic decal manufacturing process, market trends, and customer expectations. The design process for Rosewood Opulence Collection Inspired by Rosewood Ivory Inlay work from Mysore Palace followed a systematic approach, including various stages such as inspiration, ideation, concept development, prototyping, and evaluation. Multiple methodologies were employed to gather relevant data for the project. These included surveys, interviews, and site visits. The combination of quantitative and qualitative data provided valuable insights into the existing processes and market demands. The collected data was analyzed and synthesized to identify patterns, trends, and potential opportunities. This process helped in generating meaningful design insights and informed decision-making throughout the project. Design concepts were developed based on the synthesized insights, considering factors such as aesthetics, functionality, material suitability, and manufacturability. Multiple design iterations were carried out, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and considering technical constraints. The design graduation project successfully achieved its objective of designing decals for luxurious Tableware for Mulder India Pvt Ltd. The project provided valuable insights into the design process, collaboration with industry partners, and the importance of incorporating ethical considerations. Through this project, I acquired practical skills and knowledge in ceramic decal design that will contribute to my professional growth in the field of design.
