The project site is situated within Thane Municipality in Thane district and is a collaborative effort between Kalpataru, a private developer, and the Municipal Corporation of Thane. This partnership falls under the CSR arrangement between the developer and the municipal corporation.
The brief is to conceptualize and design a signage and way finding system as well as environmental Graphics wherever applicable for the Grand Central Park, Thane. The Park houses an array of features/amenities to cater for different kind of users such as Play areas, Amphitheater, a lake, sports facilities and many more. The Grand Central Park is poised to become one of the largest public parks in the area, designed to cater to a diverse and cosmopolitan range of visitors.
The project scope encompasses Research, Wayfinding system, Concept development, Visual language creation, Design of both External and Internal signage, as well as design for Parking Graphics.
