Sysnopsis

The project aims to address the modern retail execution of P&G brands by creating effective and efficient solutions that help brands to stand out in high footfall and crowded retail spaces. It shares the entire design process in detail about making of Point of Sale Display for various brands under P&G. The project started with the study of available data and understanding of the brand objectives and vision for offline retail.

Consumer behavior, current efforts, existing solutions, and pain points were analyzed during market research. Key observations and Opportunities were identified. Further, Initial design concepts were created as per brand challenges and presented to a different team at P&G, changes were made as per feedback and the final design concept was prepared. It was then discussed with vendors to keep it under budget and the material for the POP display had been finalized. The working drawings were prepared for easy execution and artworks were given to produce sample prototypes.

The final designs include modular concepts which can work across different formats and sizes of the stores to increase brand visibility and deliver a superior brand experience through POSM. It had been tested in the market at the research center for improvements and modification opportunities. A design intervention was made such that the design could approach and benefit the trio of brands, Customers, and Retailers, considering the logistic cost.
