This project is intended to innovate a product that will be sold by Lenskart, a company that sells eyewear. The project aimed to create a solution that would improve the lives of people with high prescriptions around an activity.
Several opportunities were explored within the realm of eyewear for this project, but eventually, it was narrowed down to prescription swimming goggles as the most suitable option. This decision was based on research and analysis of the market as well as user research to identify possible interventions in this area.
The development phase of the project explored several mechanisms and features that could be included in the product. The concept of prescription swimming goggles was designed considering the users' ergonomics, needs and requirements. A prototype was then developed and tested so that the form and features of the design could be validated.
