Sysnopsis

According to WHO, burnout is a syndrome conceptualized as resulting from chronic workplace stress that has not been successfully managed. It is characterized by three dimensions: Feelings of energy depletion or exhaustion, Increased mental distance from one’s job, and feelings of negativity or cynicism related to one's job. Resulting in reduced professional efficacy.
Vision for Vitality was to build an AI-powered employee wellness app. The brief was to create a wellness app which has an AI-powered personal companion as a stand out feature which will help the user understand and evaluate their mental wellbeing through various functionalities.
Burnout has become common among younger groups of employees in the past few years. Resulting in the average age for job burnout at just 32 years. The designated user group was IT consultants from any Indian organization. This was decided after careful consideration of the type of work, job demands, extended work hours and increased stress levels seen in this group.
The app uses features like Mood tracking, Assessment surveys, Task manager, Personal journals to keep track of vital information related to the users mental wellbeing. Along with this it also offers features like an AI powered digital human who will act as a life coach for the user. This will help them improve their mental state. It also features a built-in Therapist service which helps the user book appointments straight from the app and also attend the session online through the app.
The main deliverable in this project was the app interface with interaction and experience being the main priorities. I was happy to have an opportunity like this to learn, grow and contribute to a project that would help make a difference in people's lives.
