India Post has been an important part of India, but its presence has decreased in this age of technology. Despite many attempts to revamp its system, India Post has struggled to achieve its goals. As a result, people tend to choose other options for e-commerce, logistics, and banking. However, my project aims to address these issues and provide a solution to boost business in both e-commerce and logistics.
India Post has great potential to contribute to the growth of the e-commerce industry. To achieve this, I have developed a new model called Daakit which comprises two applications. The first application allows manufacturers to create and manage their virtual store, while the second application enables retailers to purchase products from these manufacturers.
To streamline the store setup and management process, it is crucial to understand the user personas and their daily tasks. Daakit has been designed to be user-friendly, easy to learn, clutter-free, and stable. This will help India Post to boost its e-commerce services in both B2B and B2C with logistics support. Additionally, a new brand has been created to give the image a modern and technological feel. Daakit aims to encourage people to become entrepreneurs and start their own businesses remotely.
